If the latest rumor from Taiwan is accurate, we could be seeing a sequel to the Nexus 7 in May.
DigiTimes has just reported that Google is continuing its partnership with Asus for the next-generation Nexus 7 slate. According to the rumor, the screen of the Nexus 7 will be upgraded to a full-HD display. The device will also be slimmer, with a thinner bezel.
More importantly, prices for this 7-inch tablet are said to be similar to the ones (US$199 to US$249) that Google is currently charging for the Nexus 7.
With Google's annual I/O developer conference happening in May, it's likely that this rumored tablet sequel will be announced at the event. While DigiTimes' sources indicate that this slate would be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, we don't rule out the possibility that it will come with the next version of Android, codenamed Key Lime Pie.
