Lava Iris N501 with 5-inch display, 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0 launched for Rs. 9999

Lava has launched Iris N501, new Android Smartphone in the Iris range. It has a 5-inch (480 × 800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera for video calling.  It has Dual SIM support similar to the other Iris smartphones. This would compete with other budget 5-inch Dual SIM Smartphones such as Micromax A110, iBall Andi 5c, Spice Stellar Horizon, Zync Z5 Cloud and the Intex Aqua 5.0.
It comes pre-loaded with Hike Messaging App, Saavn Music app, Fusion Music Organizer app and games including Asphalt HD, Cricket Fever, Saving Private Sheep, Shark Dash and Little Big City.
