SONY XPERIA HONAMI : PRESS RENDERS AND NAME LEAKS

The fact that Sony is working on its next flagship smartphone is not a secret anymore. The alleged Sony Xperia Honami  has been leaked several times with reports even claiming that the device may be unveiled next month in Berlin on the sidelines of IFA.But this time we may be getting the right name for the Honami.

The only detail that was missing in the previous leaks was the name of the device. But a new rumour claims that the Xperia Honami might release as the Sony Xperia Z1.

Additionally, a few press render images of the device have leaked. ePrice has leaked a new picture which can be considered as the promotional material related to Sony's next smartphone. However, the images leaked are of low-resolution and don't reveal many details about the upcoming handset. The images do reveal however that the upcoming handset from Sony will come in three colours - Black, Purple and White. The images also show the device featuring a glass back panel.

Earlier rumours suggested that the Xperia Z1 or Honami may sport a 5.0-inch full-HD display. It's likely to be powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. The highlight of Sony's next flagship smartphone is said to be its camera, as it features a 20-megapixel Exmor RS rear camera that is expected to sport a Sony G-lens and BIONZ image processor. The phone is also expected to feature a 2.0-megapixel front facing camera.
